Finding Your Flickr User Id

When you sign up for a Flickr account you get assigned a Flickr id that becomes part of the URLs to your stuff on Flickr, mine is:

What many (most?) do is to customize their URLs so this 'raw' id is no longer part of their URLs, I replaced it with my name:

Then one no longer sees one's 'raw' Flickr user id anywhere, it does not show up in your profile page for example (I think it would be nice if it did). There are some who at times would like to look up their 'raw' Flickr user id, here is one way to find it:
  1. Make sure you are logged in.
  2. Go to one of the pages that let developers test one of the Flickr API's methods, for example this. You do not have to do anything but look up in the upper right part of the page, there under the caption Useful Values you will find your 'raw' id. If you re logged in.

Getting Close To Let Web App Fly...

Ok, the web gallery web app using mf4j is getting close to its first release.

Source code still not checked into google, think I will scrap the project jmgc which I decided was a wrong turn, new project has acronym wfg for Web Flickr Gallery, think must check in as project named wfg.

Then after some finishing will run web app hosted by google :-), my first... Should I think be done before weekend.

Also make app public in the Flickr web app soon after, need to document how to define gallery and construct url.
